Across Oz East to West Tour (30 days)

Great Divide Tours has been leading 4WD tagalong tours since 1990, longer than any other business of this type. In 2001 and 2006 we conducted a double crossing of Australia, they were epic tours for sure. Now it is time to at least offer a complete crossing of Australia from its most easterly point at Byron Bay to its most westerly point at Steep Point in Western Australia.

This tour will take you through the centre of Australia, from the rainforests of the east coast to the edge of the Simpson Desert and then from Alice Springs through very remote tracks west to near Marble Bar. At this point we will guide you into Karijini National Park often described as the most beautiful national park in Australia. Then to the coast at Onslow, Exmouth and Coral Bay where you can swim with dolphins and manta rays if you wish, then we head to Shark Bay and our final destination, Steep Point with its towering cliffs and the pounding waves of the Indian Ocean. But before that ultimate climax we have allowed time for a day visit to Dirk Hartog Island if you are keen. We will conclude our trip in Kalbarri where the amazing Skywalk will take your breath away.

This is an epic 30-day 4wd tagalong extravaganza led by respected tour guide Scott Broadhead from Great Divide Tours.
