Weekend Photographic course for Four Wheel Drive Travellers
Ever wanted to take photos like those you see in the travel magazines? Well here is your chance to learn all the tricks.
Great Divide Tours has secured the services of Phil Cooper who does a lot of the photography in Overlander Magazine and has accompanied me on the last two 4WD of the Year test programs, check out his work at www.philcooperphotography.com.au
The course will be conducted at my 4WD training property at Braidwood and will consist of a series of lessons in the training room followed by practical use of the camera outside on my property. We will cover such things as using to your advantage White Balance, ISO, Depth of field, priority focussing, photo composition and a whole lot more.
At the end of Saturday we will go to a quiet location to get lessons on how to use the afternoon light to your advantage and maybe even some sunset photos.
After dinner, Phil will even run through night photography, we have lots of stars at Braidwood, bring your tripod if you have one
On Sunday, we have more class room discussion and then we will do a 4WD run into Monga National Park to a beautiful fern glade where Phil will show you how to shoot in these tricky light conditions.
Lunch by a brook and then we conclude in Braidwood around 3pm.
